Learning

At Hyde Park Play School, the child comes first. We take pride in not only providing for their physical and emotional needs, but for their developmental needs as well. Our curriculum was created for its balance between both teacher-directed and child-initiated learning. It is our goal to help the children develop the passion for learning that they will carry with them throughout their life.  Hyde Park Play School uses a weekly theme based curriculum that is designed to foster social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development and to enhance learning in literacy, math, science, social studies, and the arts.  This allows the teachers to plan and implement a developmentally appropriate, content-rich program for children of all backgrounds and skill levels that is constantly matching the interests of the students. Please be sure to look for the weekly lesson plans hanging in the classrooms.
